BAINBRIDGE, GA. — David Ross, 2013 Boston Red Sox World Series Champion and former catcher for the Atlanta Braves, will be the guest speaker on Wednesday, January 22, at Grace Christian Academy in Bainbridge, Georgia. Ross, a Bainbridge native, will talk about baseball, faith and family. The event, which takes place in the school’s gymnasium, will feature games and activities starting at 6:30 p.m., followed by Ross speaking at 7 p.m.

Soul surfer, Bethany Hamilton, was the featured speaker at Liberty University’s Convocation, North America’s largest weekly gathering of Christian students. The event took place on October 16, 2013 at Convocation where Bethany Hamilton shared her amazing story with students and faculty, explaining how God was with her through it all. Hamilton, a devout Christian, held the audience’s attention with her words of inspiration saying, “If you choose to give God your life, He will take your passions and make them even bigger passions.”

OXFORD, Miss. – Bobby Bowden, former head football coach of the Florida State University Seminoles (FSU), will be a featured speaker at the University of Mississippi campus for a breakfast to be held on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2014. The breakfast is being sponsored by the Ole Miss chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
