Bobby Bowden Named Keynote Speaker at Fellowship of Christian Athletes/AutoZone Liberty Bowl Prayer Breakfast

MEMPHIS, TN. — Bobby Bowden, former football coach of the Florida State University Seminoles, has been named the keynote speaker at the Fellowship of Christian Athletes/AutoZone Liberty Bowl prayer breakfast. The breakfast will be held Dec. 28 at  7:30 a.m. at the Hilton Memphis Hotel. Tickets are $80 or $750 for a table of 10 and can be obtained by contacting FCA staffers or volunteers. Bobby Bowden’s personality and charm are bigger than life and he has become somewhat of a folk hero. An engaging motivational speaker, Bowden is constantly in demand and most of his free evenings will find him on the speaking circuit. His off-season travel schedule would exhaust anyone. Bowden coached the Seminoles from 1976-2009, winning 12 ACC championships and national championships in 1993 and 1999. His career record is 377-129-4, and he holds the career record for victories in the Football Bowl Subdivision. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2006.
