According to a related News-Press article, while Clampett was at The First Tee of Naples/Collier Invitational he had some commentary about Tiger Woods regarding his play at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas after a long layoff:

“I thought his putting stroke looked really good. I thought his short game looked really good. I thought the fact he tied for the lead in birdies for the week was huge. … He’s making a lot of mistakes, which is typical. Every time I come back and play after having been gone a while, it’s the same thing.”
