CHICO CA. — Former San Francisco relief pitcher Jeremy Affeldt has been named the keynote speaker for Chico American Legion Baseball’s 19th annual Spring Fever dinner. The event, which serves as a fundraiser for the Chico Nuts, is set for March 4th at Manzanita Place in Chico. Affeldt will discuss his major league baseball career and will be sharing the lessons he’s learned with the youngsters and parents in attendance.
