Tyree is best remembered for his famous catch during Super Bowl XLII on the Giants\' final drive against the previously undefeated New England Patriots. The catch came in the waning moments of the game and led to the go-ahead touchdown that put the Giants ahead for good, 17-14. Tyree played for the Giants from 2003-08 and was named to the 2005 Pro Bowl roster. In an article about faith and family Tyree said, "My faith in Jesus Christ is beyond importance. These actions among others lead to my arrest in March 2004. Alone in that jail cell was the lowest point in my life provoking me to cry out to God sincerely for the first time in my life expressing my need for Him.
